The rooms at Hotel Hesperia were totally awesome! They had all the modern stuff you could want, like air conditioning, which was huge for me, since I like to sleep in a cool room. Plus, there were 16 rooms spread out over two floors, so it felt cozy and not too crowded. It had a great vibe to it!
Honestly, the only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was that there were only two floors. But hey, that's just me.

The location is highly recommended, near Guglie Maritime Station (opposite), the train and bus station (8-10 min walk) and only 15-20 minutes walk from Rialto. The nearby commercial area (San leonardo, Strada Nova) has almost everything (shops, bars, restaurants, etc.), which makes the area recommendable.
We stay in a room with an outside bathroom. The bathroom was in the corridor with the rest of the rooms, and several doors away from our room which made it difficult to get in and out. When we got to the room the ceiling was full of large mosquitoes. We had to ask for an electric insecticide (they didn't have it at the time, they gave it to us the next day) and we still couldn't get them to leave completely. Uncomfortable to sleep at ease. Right breakfast, although a little bit of variety.

This hotel was mind-blowingly convenient, just a 3-minute walk from the train station. It's located near a ton of shops and restaurants. The breakfast was simple but good, and enough to start the day. The staff, especially the woman at reception, were super kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making it a great value for money. our stay here was jaw-droppingly amazing!

We arrived late midnight but the Reception is still awaiting for us. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Breakfast is simple yet its nice. Staff and the Hotel ownerare very friendly and helpfull
Internet is little bit expensive. Would strongly recommend to throw in free internet service as many Europe Hotels are giving free wifi nowadays. Wifi is one of attraction for guest to choose hotels.

Very helpful and pleasant staff, clean room and bathroom, good coffee and breakfast, very near the train station (5-10 mins on foot) and with a ferry-bus stop outside! Thoroughly nice hotel.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Venice that I would highly recommend. the location was perfect. Situated just off the main canal in the charming Cannaregio district, the hotel provided a peaceful and authentic Venetian experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or provide directions to the nearby attractions. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the hotel paid great attention to detail, offering basic amenities like a fridge in the room and a delicious breakfast with a nice cup of coffee included. Additionally, the rooms had a view of a quiet canal-side street, allowing for a tranquil and picturesque atmosphere.
There wasn't any particular aspect of my stay at this hotel that I felt could be improved upon. Everything was just as I had hoped, creating a truly enjoyable experience.

Nice view to the cannal
That bathroom for economic room is outside of room. But is wasn't that bad because it was next to it.

we were able to request and get a view of a venice canal
the lack of a bell service to assist with bags up some steep stairs the fact that a bathroom was located outside of the room in the hall we literally got bitten alive from mosquitoes while in Venice & in the room which made for an uncomfortable stay the last night...the hot weather & time of year in Sept had a lot to do with this obviously

The staff at Hotel Hesperia were extra helpful. They made me feel at home and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I do not speak Italian and we had no problem communicating. I would stay there again without doubt.
The only minor difficulty was that the wifi was not strong enough to reach the second floor without dropping the connection. It was fine when I went downstairs to the lobby.

The hotel's location couldn't have been better, just a few minutes from the train station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. the breakfast provided was simple but satisfying, and the staff, especially the woman at reception, were incredibly kind and helpful. the room itself was classy with large windows and a peaceful atmosphere. A truly great value for money experience at Hesperia.
Everything I needed and wanted was provided without any issues. 😊

Cleanliness of your room, Location, Value for money, Hotel staff
I bought 10 hours of wi fi at a high price and I could never connect my Blackberry because the wi - fi was misconfigured, so I had to use the hotel's computer at the reception
